1949 Established in Yaguchi, Ota-ku, Tokyo
1956 Kawasaki Laboratory was founded in Kawasaki City, Kanagawa Pref.
1967 Hamaoka Factory was founded in Omaezaki City, Shizuoka Pref.
1982 Oita Factory was founded in Oita City, Oita Pref.
1984 Established an affiliated company, Moses Lake Industries, Inc. in Washington State, USA.
Kitakami Factory was founded in Kitakami City, Iwate Pref.
1985 Founded an electronics materials research laboratory in Oita City, Oita Pref.
1992 Yokkaichi Factory was founded in Yokkaichi City, Mie Pref.
1996 Head office moved to Ekimaehoncho, Kawasaki-ku, Kawasaki City, Kanagawa Pref.
Kemitek Industrial Corp. was established in Taipei, Taiwan.
1997 Kemitek Industrial Corp. founded a factory in Hsin Chu, Taiwan.

With its ultrapure technology and services, Tama Chemicals Co. supports the development of electronics industries, especially semiconductors and liquid crystals, and attempts to promote aprosperous society.

"Ultrapure chemicals" are widely used as electronic materials, such as developers for semiconductor / liquid crystal technology, thin-filmformationmaterialsfor semiconductors, and CMP materials for semiconductors. As reflected by its ultrapure reagent "TAMAPURE-AA," Tama Chemicals has responded to the needs of Research institutions, etc. through continued development efforts aimed at achieving the utmost level of purity, i.e. ultra, ultra-purity, where ppt is now ppq. In addition, the ultrapure reagents produced by Tama Chemicals are used in flash memory, smart phones, tablet terminals, 3D televisions, and CMOS sensors for high-performance cameras, as a result of increasing demand in these areas, and these reagents are receiving high ratings. Pharmaceutical products such as silicic acid ester, alkoxysilane, etc. that Tama Chemicals produces are also widely used in areas other than the electronics industry.
